Asus ProArt 27 QD-OLED (PA279cdv) Review: HDR for All

The Asus PA279CDV is a 27-inch QD-OLED monitor costing $699, featuring 120 Hz refresh, HDR support, and a port array of dual USB-C (96 W PD and KVM), HDMI 2.1, and DisplayPort 1.4. Its stand provides swivel, tilt, portrait rotation, and 5-inch height adjustment, while on-panel controls and a Windows 11/macOS Display Widget app enable extensive color and picture settings. SDR brightness is modest, macOS connectivity has quirks, and the built-in speakers are weak, yet it delivers a competitively priced OLED solution for creators.
