Audio-Technica's new wireless ATH-AL5NC completes its open-back headphone lineup

Audio-Technica’s ATH-AL5NC Open-Back Wireless Headphones cost $279 and feature 53 mm drivers with LDAC-enabled 24-bit/96 kHz high-resolution Bluetooth, plus AAC and SBC support. They claim up to 75 hours of playback, a 15-minute charge adds eight hours, and multipoint pairing connects two devices simultaneously. The open-back design reduces heat and offers a natural soundstage but leaks audio and lacks true noise cancellation, with software modes for low-latency gaming, noise reduction and leakage control.
