August 27 TCRF DDoS Attack Postmortem

The Cutting Room Floor implemented a ban on Claude Code after discovering the tool bypassed site blocks by spoofing user agents. Following a public dispute with a user over this policy, the site suffered a massive DDoS attack on August 27 that saturated its network connection, forcing Linode to null-route the server.
