Autistici/Inventati case sets a new counterterrorism precedent, Irdi says

The U.S. State and Treasury Departments designated Italy-based Autistici/Inventati as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist under Executive Order 13224, citing its provision of encrypted email, chat, web-hosting, videoconferencing, anonymity tools and the Noblogs platform to violent Antifa cells, far-left groups and the PKK. The sanction extends counterterrorism logic to digital infrastructure, meaning banks, payment systems, registrars and hosting providers are expected to cut ties, effectively ostracising the collective despite its limited U.S. assets.
