Autistici/inventati: Manifesto – who we are and what do we want (2002)

The group Autistici / Inventati declares a goal of reclaiming Internet spaces for free communication, unrestricted access to digital resources, and socially oriented projects, launching an independent server to provide non-commercial services such as websites, email, mailing lists, chats, blogs and newsletters. They reject corporate, religious and political exploitation, promote open-source software, oppose traditional copyright, operate without sponsors or paid staff, and make all technical and political decisions collectively through transparent mailing-list discussions.
