Automattic has a new board after failed attempt to put CEO on leave
Automattic CEO Matt Mullenweg replaced his board of directors with new members, including author Hugh Howey and former IRL co-founders, after successfully thwarting an attempted ousting. Leveraging his 84% voting control, Mullenweg also removed the company's CFO and Chief Legal Officer while appointing new advisers to stabilize the parent company of WordPress.com and Tumblr.
