Baseten buys Blaxel, a startup that builds sandboxes for AI agents

Baseten, an AI inference platform, has acquired San Francisco-based startup Blaxel, which creates secure sandbox environments for AI agents. Baseten co-founder and CTO Amir Haghighat confirmed the transaction in an interview with Axios Pro, and the company later issued a formal announcement.
