The Bentley Supersports: A stripped-out engineer's indulgence

Bentley flew journalists from Washington, D.C., to Monterey so they could test-drive the Supersports and a pre-production Torcal EV, the brand’s first battery-electric model aimed at expanding its sustainable-luxury image. Engineers explored a stripped-down version of the Supersports that omits the hybrid system, all-wheel drive and rear seats, reducing curb weight in a concept reminiscent of Porsche’s race-inspired road cars.
