The best things I saw at IFA 2026

IFA 2026 highlighted a surge of hybrid camera devices, such as removable-camera smartphones and 360°/gimbal cameras like Hohem’s EyePic, which detaches for lanyard or magnetic mounting and rotates its display for vertical video. Lenovo introduced the ultra-thin Project Swan ultrabook, under 18 mm thick, 3.5 lb, with a screen that expands from 14 in to 17 in. Lenovo also launched the $700 IdeaPad Vibe, offering Snapdragon X or AMD Ryzen AI 400 CPUs, four USB ports, microSD, and HDMI. Apple’s MacBook Neo continued to inspire peripheral colorways, while Dell and other competitors expanded their laptop lineups.
