Blizzard unveiled a cinematic trailer for a new game titled StarCraft, describing it as a story-driven open-world shooter. The title, announced at BlizzCon 2026, is slated for release in spring 2030, marking the franchise’s first new entry since the 2017 remaster and the 2008 launch of StarCraft II.
