BMW has sold two million electric cars, and Europe bought seven in ten of the ones it shifted last quarter

BMW delivered its two-millionth fully electric vehicle, an i5 M60 xDrive built in Dingolfing and handed to a customer in Spain, marking deliveries since 2013. In Q2, Europe bought 81,445 of the 116,807 battery-electric cars sold, representing seven-in-ten of BMW’s EV sales, while global BEV deliveries fell 7.4% in H1. The iX3 accounts for roughly one-third of European EV orders, with half of all X3 orders now electric.
