BMW reveals US 3 series pricing: The EV carries a hefty premium

BMW has opened US order books for its new 3 Series sedan built on the Neue Klasse platform, offering a fully electric 2027 i3 50 xDrive with all-wheel drive, 463 hp, 467 lb-ft, and an EPA-certified range of 446–468 miles. The model uses a cylindrical cell battery pack and sixth-generation motors, while gasoline variants remain available. A later i3 M60 xDrive and a fully electric M3 with four motors are expected next year.
