BMW’s electric 3 Series costs $4,400 less than its petrol M350 in the US

BMW’s 2027 i3 50 xDrive starts at $61,500, $4,400 below the petrol M350 xDrive’s $65,900, excluding a $1,350 destination fee. The i3 delivers 463 hp, 476 lb-ft torque, 60 mph in 4.5 s, and an EPA-tested range of 446–468 miles, adding 191–208 miles in 10 minutes on a 400 kW charger. The electric model is built in Munich on BMW’s Neue Klasse platform, while the petrol variants will be produced in Dingolfing.
