Boeing "incredibly excited" to serve as nation's only astronaut transportation

NASA is purchasing two additional Starliner flights from Boeing to ensure continued access to low-Earth orbit. The agency will also provide financial support to help Boeing transition to a new launch vehicle following the retirement of the Atlas V rocket and the eventual sunsetting of SpaceX’s Crew Dragon platform.
