The Boring Company raises $3B in round led by UAE

The Boring Company closed a $3 billion Series D round led by United Arab Emirates investors, valuing the firm at $23 billion. Investors also included Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia Capital, Human Capital, Vy Capital and Valor Equity Partners. The company plans to build more than 150 km of tunnels in the UAE while operating tunnels in Las Vegas and starting a 10-mile loop in Nashville to shift vehicle traffic underground.
