A brief history of Windows scroll bar shortcuts
Windows scroll bars originally offered only line, page, and thumb drag actions. Windows 7 added a right-click menu with “Scroll Here” and a Shift-click shortcut that jumps the thumb to the click position. Modern frameworks vary: Chromium scroll bars lack the menu but support Shift-click; WPF implements both; WinUI lacks both; Qt allows developers to enable these features via SH_ flags.
