The broadcast squeezeback, rebuilt with CSS Grid and WebVTT

CSS Grid animates track sizes to create a “squeezeback” effect, removing JavaScript transforms. WebVTT cues in Video.js v10 drive layout changes: cue IDs map to product keys, payloads define grid layouts, and hidden track mode updates layout without rendering captions. This lets developers retime shoppable videos by editing a text file, keeping the pipeline lightweight.
