Capital F closes $17M debut fund with goal to back the future of the ‘female economy’

Capital F closed its debut $17 million fund, targeting the “female economy” through women’s health, digital commerce, and AI tools that address trust-and-safety harms. The all-female-led firm, founded by Margaret Coblentz and Dawn Dobras, has invested in 13 early-stage companies such as Hey Jane, Stardust, Malama and Big Sur AI, writing checks of $250 k–$1 M and aims to deploy the capital by the end of 2027.
