Car owners want tech they can ignore

A JD Power survey of 68,084 owners of 2026-model vehicles after 90 days found that drivers value the least noticeable technologies, rating them highest across comfort, convenience, connectivity, driver-assist, EV and smart-car features. The study shows consumers are growing frustrated with large screens and unreliable software, preferring seamless, unobtrusive functionality.
