CareCloud confirms 3.7M patients had their medical records stolen in data breach
CareCloud disclosed that hackers accessed its Amazon Web Services environment and exfiltrated personal and medical data for more than 3.75 million patients, including names, addresses, Social Security numbers, passports, driver’s licenses, banking details and health records. The breach, reported to the HHS, ranks as the fifth-largest health-data theft in 2026.
