CDPR is aiming to release The Witcher 4 in 2028

CD Projekt Red’s joint-CEO Michał Nowakowski announced that The Witcher 4 is targeted for a 2028 release, describing it as the studio’s “biggest, boldest and most ambitious” game. The sequel, first announced in 2022 and shown at the 2024 Game Awards, will not be presented at Gamescom, which will instead showcase the upcoming The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past expansion slated for 2027.
