Celero announced a $275 million Series C round that values the company at more than $3 billion as it builds a specialized chip to enable long-distance connections between AI data centers. Mathematician Tristan Buckmaster claims OpenAI leveraged his and Anthropic researcher Levent Alpöge’s Navier-Stokes work to improve its models, and OpenAI responded that, while unlikely, it cannot rule out that de-identified data from their product usage contributed to model training.
