Charts built for Chat

dbt Labs is open-sourcing dbt Charts, a tool that moves visualization from UI-based BI platforms into structured YAML code. This framework uses SQL for data retrieval and YAML for layout, allowing AI agents to generate auditable, interactive dashboards. The CLI renders these files into various formats, including HTML, PDF, and terminal-ready outputs.
