ChatGPT and Reddit now face EU's toughest online safety rules

OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Reddit, and Roblox have been designated “very large online platforms” under the EU Digital Services Act, obligating them to remove illegal content, safeguard minors’ privacy and security, and adhere to stricter safety standards. Non-compliance can trigger fines of up to 6% of each company’s global revenue.
