ChatGPT now sends 95.1% of AI referral traffic to websites, BrightEdge says

ChatGPT referred 95.1% of AI-generated traffic to websites in August, a 36% month-over-month rise and the highest share of the year, according to BrightEdge. Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude accounted for 2.4%, 1.1%, and 0.8% respectively, while total AI-referral traffic grew 73% in less than a year. BrightEdge notes that ChatGPT now drives about 22 times more traffic than the three other bots combined.
