Chinese memory maker CXMT sues Pentagon to get off US list

CXMT filed a lawsuit in Washington against the U.S. Department of Defense to have its designation as a Chinese military company removed, a label that bars it from defense contracts while leaving commercial sales unaffected. The firm is the world’s fourth-largest DRAM producer and recently overtook Tencent to become China’s most valuable publicly listed company.
