Chinese regulators tell Tesla to fix nearly 3 million cars

Chinese regulators have ordered Tesla to affix warning labels to 2.98 million Model 3 and Model Y vehicles in China, clarifying how to open rear doors during a power-loss emergency. The automaker must also issue a software update that automatically lowers all windows when a collision occurs. The directive follows new rules that will mandate specific handle dimensions for future vehicle approvals, while existing models are exempt until the end of 2028.
