Christian Employers Can Now Discriminate Against Trans People

The EEOC agreed to a perpetual settlement that bars it from pursuing any gender-identity discrimination claims against the Christian Employers Alliance and any current or future members, effectively shielding those employers from EEOC investigations. The deal, reached on August 18, follows EEOC guidance under the Biden administration and a 2020 Supreme Court ruling that Title VII covers gender-identity discrimination.
