Christmas Village shoppers no longer will be allowed to enter booths

Vendors at Philadelphia’s Christmas Village and Made in Philadelphia markets must block booth interiors this season, adding sales counters because an 8-foot ramp required for ADA compliance fits only a few wider stalls. Organizer German American Marketing warned the change will force sellers to staff additional assistance and could reduce revenues, while disability advocates cite broader accessibility failures at the event.
