Chrome Deletes the Last Manifest V2 Extensions on August 31

Chrome permanently removed support for Manifest V2 extensions on July 24 2025 (Chrome 138), eliminating the manual re-enable toggle and enterprise policy that had kept them alive. Subsequent releases—Chrome 139 deleting the policy, Chrome 150 dropping the related feature flag, and Chrome 151 removing the last developer flag—completed the cleanup, making it impossible to run any MV2 extension in Chrome.
