CivilGrid, a platform that aggregates utility-asset, property-ownership and underground-infrastructure data to create a “Google Maps for the underground,” secured $26 million in Series A financing. The round was led by investors including Andreessen Horowitz and General Catalyst, and will be used to expand mapping coverage, add analytics tools, and accelerate partnerships with municipalities and utility companies.
