Claude Fable 5.1 solved Sir Thomas Urquhart’s 370-year-old Cyphral Distich by using the 32 Proquiritations preceding the cipher as a key, indexing each word to obtain the phrase “O GOD UPHOLD KING CHARLES THE SECOND AND MAKE HIM THE SUPREME RULER OF THIS LAND.” The same indexing technique decoded the larger Cyphral Octastich from The Jewel (1652), extracting nearly all letters by referencing words on the book’s numbered pages.
