Clef: our open-source decision models

Cloudflare releases two open-source decision models, Clef and Clef-flash, under an Apache 2.0 license and hosts them on Workers AI; Clef achieves 2.2 s domain classification versus 4.7 s for a 120 B LLM, with a 64 k context window and a vision encoder for image input. The models are fully Jev-API compatible and can be fine-tuned via a new reinforcement-learning platform to suit specific use cases.
