Coop – Isolated VM Environments for Running Claude Code and Codex

Coop is a Rust CLI that creates disposable virtual machines granting Claude Code and Codex full Docker, git, compiler, and package-manager access while protecting the host. It builds VM templates with Firecracker on Linux and Lima on macOS, supporting macOS arm64 and Linux x86_64. Installation is possible via a single script or by compiling from source. Users launch isolated environments with “coop up” and start the AI agents using “coop claude” or “coop codex”.
