County pays $600,000 to pentesters it arrested for assessing courthouse security

Two security professionals, Gary DeMercurio and Justin Wynn, will receive $600,000 for wrongful arrest and defamation. They had authorization to conduct a security assessment of an Iowa courthouse. The assessment included "red-team" exercises and physical attacks like lockpicking.
