CrowdSec Source Code Leak

CrowdSec confirmed a source-code leak in its private GitHub repositories that occurred in May 2026, exposing code for its SaaS console, AWS routines, connectors, and automations. No client data, PII, or login credentials were compromised, and the leaked code cannot be used outside CrowdSec because it interacts only with internal data and tools. The company immediately rotated all tokens and credentials and will monitor for abnormal activity.
