Customer Data Permanently Lost in Iran Strikes on Amazon Data Centers

Iranian drone and missile strikes on Amazon data centers in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates caused the permanent loss of customer data. AWS failed to restore resources across all three availability zones in Bahrain and one zone in the UAE, citing infrastructure damage that exceeded the design capacity of its regional services.
