Dacia moves Spring production from China to Slovenia and keeps the range under €20,000 for the new EV

Dacia’s second-generation Spring, now built at Renault’s Novo Mesto plant in Slovenia, stays under €20,000 before subsidies and uses the RG-EV platform with a 27.5 kWh LFP battery delivering up to 250 km WLTP range and 12.7 kWh/100 km consumption. The 60 kW motor, modest equipment and EU-based assembly avoid Chinese countervailing duties and qualify for European EV incentives.
