Data from drones in Ukraine is fueling a new Wild West marketplace

Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence will release millions of data points from tens of thousands of drone flights, granting access to over 100 firms and the UK government for AI model training. The battlefield data—images, video, controller inputs, and operator responses—provides rare exception scenarios that commercial labs cannot replicate, driving rapid development of both military and civilian autonomous drone systems.
