Deus Ex and Dishonored designer Harvey Smith has a new studio making immersive sims

Harvey Smith and longtime collaborator Ben Horne have founded Black Pony Immersive in Austin, assembling veterans from Arkane, Insomniac, Epic, Avalanche and Volition to develop narrative-rich first-person action RPGs, i.e., immersive sims. Design director Ricardo Bare, formerly of Prey and Dishonored, joins the team, which aims to create original worlds with emergent gameplay.
