DJI’s new robovac can climb obstacles, vacuum quietly, and claims much improved privacy
DJI’s second-generation Romo robovac, released as the transparent P2 and opaque A2 models, offers quieter operation, higher suction power, and the ability to climb small steps and navigate obstacles as thin as 2 mm, including transparent surfaces. The devices introduce a local-only data mode to address the previous model’s security vulnerabilities, while featuring enhanced navigation and “human-like reasoning” for improved obstacle avoidance.
