Don't fall for this digital TV antenna myth

Digital TV antennas cannot achieve the advertised thousands-of-miles ranges; signals are limited by line-of-sight, Earth’s curvature, terrain and obstacles. Indoor units typically work within 15-60 miles of a transmitter, while outdoor installations can extend reliable reception to about 70 miles, with higher VHF/UHF frequencies reaching slightly farther.
