The downsides of switching from a MacBook to Windows

Switching from a MacBook to Windows means losing Apple’s tightly integrated hardware-software experience, which yields consistent polish and long battery life from M-series ARM chips, but gaining access to a broader hardware selection, including RGB-lit and dual-screen models, and the widest game library. Lower-priced Windows laptops often use plastic chassis and x86 CPUs, resulting in poorer battery performance, while ARM-based Windows devices improve endurance but face software compatibility limitations.
