Dutch central bank moves share of gold from U.S., Canada to London

The Nederlandsche Bank transferred €10.11 billion of gold—86,000 kg—from U.S. and Canadian vaults to the Bank of England, adding 27 tonnes from Zeist to London to balance the reserve spread. Dutch gold now sits 32% in London, 31% in Zeist, 18.5% in New York, and 18.5% in Ottawa, totaling 612.4 tonnes valued at €72.2 billion. This reallocation aims to improve crisis liquidity amid geopolitical tensions.
