Dyson’s Next Act Is an Electric Toothbrush With a Camera

Dyson’s CameraJet electric toothbrush includes an integrated flosser and a macro-lens endoscope camera that captures 28 images per second. A machine-learning model trained on 470,000 dental images detects gaps and triggers a conical rinse jet within 100 ms. The device holds 12.5 ml of alcohol-free mouth rinse, refills in three seconds via a docking station, and claims up to 69% more plaque removal in hard-to-reach areas than leading premium electric toothbrushes. It offers variable sonic oscillation, RFID-tracked brush heads, and Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connectivity to the MyDyson app.
