Early Anthropic hire, former METR COO have found a way to rein in rogue AI agents

AIUC, founded by former Anthropic employee Rune Kvist and ex-METR COO Rajiv Dattani, offers a third-party audit and certification layer for AI agents, using a SOC 2-inspired standard called AIUC-1. The startup runs each agent through ~5,000 tests for jailbreaks, hallucinations, and data leaks, producing a 100-page report that humans verify. AIUC has secured $40 million Series A funding, with customers including Cursor, Lovable, Harvey, and ElevenLabs.
