EasyEffects: Essential for Enhancing Laptop Speaker Sound on Linux Distributions

EasyEffects uses PipeWire to apply plug-ins—including limiters, compressors, a 30-band parametric EQ, bass enhancer, and reverb—to separate input and output streams, enabling detailed speaker tuning on Linux laptops. Installing community presets such as JackHack96’s Advanced Auto Gain.json markedly reduces the typical tinny, harsh laptop-speaker sound. The software is distributed via most distro package managers and as a Flathub Flatpak, with presets stored in ~/.config/easyeffects.
