Elon Musk’s xAI used child porn to train Grok models, lawsuit says

The lawsuit claims xAI’s Grok models were trained on child sexual abuse material that includes images of the plaintiff, “Jane Doe,” who was abused as a preschool-age child in the early 2000s. Her hashed images, previously catalogued by NCMEC and the Canadian Centre for Child Protection, were found in AI-generated CSAM produced by xAI. Offenders discussed creating such content on online forums, and the Canadian Centre for Child Protection notified her of the AI-generated material’s presence.
