Epic Games brings cross-platform voice chat to Fortnite and its services

Epic Parties is a cross-platform voice chat system linking Fortnite, the Epic Games Store, and the Epic Games app. Users can initiate a call in any service, invite friends from their list, convert text chats to voice with a “Start Party” button, and remain connected on mobile or while playing other Epic titles, with party members automatically placed together in the same Fortnite lobby.
