Europe has its first commercial orbital rocket
Isar Aerospace’s two-stage Spectrum rocket reached low-Earth orbit from a Norwegian launch site, marking Europe’s first fully commercial orbital launch. The company previously failed in March when the vehicle fell apart after 30 seconds. CEO Daniel Metzler said the success provides a new launch option for commercial and institutional customers.
